City Docent & City Guide was a walking tour program that operated every Thursday, Friday, and on weekends. Pairs of docents, each with different ages and backgrounds, introduced the city based on their own lived experiences. PharmaResearch Culture Foundation signed official MOUs with Catholic Kwandong University and Gangneung Yeongdong University, recruiting young local university students as city docents. As a result, three students from Catholic Kwandong University participated as city docents. Local Town guides and citizens from the Myeongjudong and Jungang-dong neighborhoods took on the role of City Guides, introducing the cultural and historical context of each location. Participants walked approximately 4km from Gangneung Station to Sinyeong Theater, listening to explanations of exhibition sites and key landmarks, thereby experiencing artworks in relation to the cultural and geographical contexts of the urban space.
