Venue

Seven-Roomed Yeogwan

Originally built in 1957, Seven-Roomed Yeogwan is a beautifully preserved hanok (traditional Korean house) that has undergone multiple transformations over the decades. Once an inn with seven rooms, it was later repurposed as a coffee shop named “7 Coffee.” Now, for GIAF25, it has been reimagined as “Seven-Roomed Yeogwan,” blending heritage and modernity to offer visitors a distinctive cultural experience in Gangneung.
As part of this festival, Seven-Roomed Yeogwan serves as a venue for interactive, citizendriven programs led by participating artists. The space also hosts an exhibition of
contemporary artworks, inviting visitors to engage with art in a historic yet modern atmosphere.
