SUH Dasom

SUH Dasom (b. 1984) explores the value of effort, care, and handcraft in everyday life, bringing attention to the significance of manual labor and traditional craftsmanship in a rapidly evolving society.
Her work reflects a deep engagement with social phenomena and historical narratives, which she seamlessly weaves into contemporary life. The artist’s primary forms of expression integrate cooking, sewing, and other hands-on practices. SUH creates project-based artistic experiments that blur the boundaries between art, daily rituals, and communal experiences while continuously uncovering new ways to reinterpret the mundane.

SUH’s major solo exhibitions include Excuse Me, Is There a Flower Shop Around Here? (Art District_ p, 2021) and Living, Eating, Sleeping (Gallery Hyeyum, 2022).
